SENTENCE WITHOUT TRIAL

The prophets proclaimed that the messiah is to come and save mankind. The Angel proclaimed to the virgin Mary that she will bear a son, his name Jesus. He was born in a kraal and behold his birth caused chaos in the world as Herold was threatened (why get threatened if you are a good governor). Many babies were slained because of Jesus’ birth and yet they live in eternity today.
Then came the time, the great and triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey and its clot; (For the first time in his history to move on a donkey, a donkey which was on a rope, for the first time was freed and carried the “King” to the great city of Jerusalem in Majesty and praises only to save mankind.
To the rulers, He was a rebel and to the people, he was King, Savior, Healer, Miracle worker and God’s Son. Not long enough, the police commander was disturbed by the massive support of Jesus at downtown and there he made a report to his bosses. As seen today, the commander had to bribe one of Jesus’ disciples; Judas Iscariot to help in the arrest of the “KING” ( not knowing that they were actually helping him accomplish his mission).
For 30 silver coins, Judas Iscariot betrayed the King and he was arrested, He was never told they reasons for the arrest and neither did He resist arrest( what a wonderful and compliant citizen. He was tortured on his way to custody, in the custody and out of custody- yet no charge was preferred against him. The news( and not the file) was not sent to the DPP but rather to the Supreme Court which has no original jurisdiction to handle matters-as it is the final appellate court.
He was subjected to corporal punishments ( strips on bear skin) and suffered great humiliation and all this was done with no clear charge laid against him but because he is the King of mankind. There is no record of charge sheet, committal papers, and statements with the arresting officer. He was not given an attorney on state brief to defend him on such an alleged capital offense, He did not take any plea, neither was hhe explained to his rights; to give sworn testimony, unsworn testimony or to keep silent.
There was no criminal trial for Jesus Christ but only torture and arbitrarily sentence on an alleged and not investigated offense. He was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court of the land and there was no allocutus-mitigation of sentence and neither did he have an opportunity to appeal…The sentence was death by crucifixion and was still tortured, mocked on the way to Golgotha and to the rulers, they had won!
He experienced the worst method of death- crucifixion, 2 nails in his palms and one in his feet; “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY DO” He breathed his last.
He died a terrible death, no charge, no trial, no defense, no mitigation, no appeal but only pain only to accomplish His mission of salvation.
On the 3rd day He rose from the dead in power and no man could ever stand his POWER OF RESURRECTION! We all have the power of the resurrection.
AT THE NAME OF JESUS, EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
